Who is responsible

This website (ludvighedin.com) is run by Ludvig Hedin, based in Stockholm, Sweden. For any privacy question you can reach me at [email protected].

What I collect

When you allow analytics, two tools collect anonymised, aggregated information about how the site is used — never your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally:

• Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from (for example a search engine, LinkedIn, or a direct visit). IP addresses are truncated by Google and not stored.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised heatmaps and session replays that show where people click and scroll, so I can spot confusing layouts. Text input is masked.

If you email me directly, I only use what you send to reply to you.

Cookies used

Strictly-necessary technical storage is always active. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them:

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics. Tells visitors apart and keeps session state. Expires after about 13 months.
• _clck, _clsk, CLID — Microsoft Clarity. Powers anonymised heatmaps and replays. Expires after up to about a year.

Legal basis

Under the GDPR and the EU ePrivacy rules, analytics cookies are loaded only with your consent. Nothing analytics-related runs until you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. Declining keeps the site fully functional.

Your choices

You can change your cookie choices at any time — that link reopens the preferences panel. You can also clear cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out add-on.

Sharing & retention

Analytics data is processed by Google and Microsoft as my processors. I don't sell data or share it for advertising. Aggregated reports are kept only as long as useful for improving the site; the underlying cookies expire as listed above.
